Protect your knees with these tough leather knee pads. Adjustable size and fitting with elasticated velcro straps
Perhaps not the most beautiful item of garden wear but immensely practical as Helen Yemm recently wrote in the Daily Telegraph when asked if she could recommend any knee pads
"Some time ago I tested all sorts of kneelers and kneepads and found that, to my great surprise, the most hideous kneepads were absolutely wonderful. They were made of almost rigid leather and lined with what looked like old-fashioned hairy carpet underlay.
They were made by Bradleys and cost around £25. I am sure you will find them as ugly as I did, but they really did do the business and I am sure they would last a lifetime, unlike those other flimsy things."
