This attractive Sparrow Community has three individual nest boxes and is made from solid FSC Timber from well managed woodland. Finished in a blue/green water based paint, each nesting hole has a copper hole protector to prevent predator damage. The back is fully hinged so all the nest boxes can be accessed and cleaned. Sparrow numbers have declined dramatically in the last decade so nesting habitat is vital.

SITING: Site on house walls and buildings from two metres upwards. Alternatively site on fences or mature trees . Face the box between north and south easterly direction if possible. Clean after occupancy at least annually.

MAINTENANCE: A clear water based sealer can be used if required annually.
